In a landmark of Greek Culture & Lifestyle, the Hellas House takes a holistic approach to personal betterment engaging mind, body, environment and nutrition. The venue’s inspiration and passionate dedication towards empowering a healthier and happy life was the perfect setting for our event “Richest Women in Shanghai – Saving & Investing Your Way to Financial Freedom.” Pointedly, self-empowerment toward a healthier and happier financial life. With special thanks to our host Tamar Hela, our guest speaker Patricia O’Keefe, and our panelists, Christina Jenq and Robin Smith and their elegant female audience, we were delighted to announce that our first “Richest Women in Shanghai” event was sold out. Guests were greeted at the History Hall, with a glass of Syrah from Greece, chosen specifically for this evening by the Hellas House sommelier Rox Zhong. Next, guests were accompanied by Ms. Dia, an expert in Ancient Greek History, on a tour of the majestic mansion. Appetizers were prepared in the Elaion Open Kitchen, which offers a superb menu of Greek cuisine created from the best Greek products by Hellas House chefs. The gathering point for the event was in the Eros Lounge which was inspired by the Greek passion for socializing, conversation and casual dining – a truly welcoming environment. With help from the panelists, Tamar Hela used the magic of storytelling to capture the attention of her audience. With such great reception by attendees, the event went overtime due to enlightening discussion and socializing. It was a special congregation of individuals in the Shanghai community, in a venue that was a real compliment. With the number of immediate post-event guest responses, we plan to continue “Richest Women in Shanghai” events. The intention for the event will also be our goal going forward – creating an environment curated by women, for women, to share stories and empower financial freedom. The “Richest Women in Shanghai” is an initiative to educate, enlighten and inspire. Thematically, this first session was based on notions from George S. Clason’s “The Richest Man in Babylon", where the Seven Cures for a Lean Purse are presented. O&G would like to thank everyone at HELLAS HOUSE for an exceptional experience, and all of our panelists and guests for joining us!
