Ara Vahanian is a graduate of California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism. Ara started his career working as a writer, researcher, and editor for Doctor Relations Inc., a marketing and consulting company for doctors and dentists. He then worked as a Marketing and Sales Support Analyst for Countrywide Financial Corporation. Ara now writes articles for Cashlamp, a personal finance blog dedicated to expats, and is a Staff Accountant at Quantage, a management consulting firm

Outside of Work
Ara is also an avid reader with an interest in how world events have shaped much of what modern life is like right now. Additionally, Ara played the piano for seven years and he always had a very keen interest in classical music and classical composers such as Frederic Francois Chopin. Ara also enjoys writing about popular culture in Asia.
