O&G and The Heartland Brothers: Sausage Festival

Last week O&G Capital partnered with our good friends at The Heartland Brothers, and participated in Shanghai’s first Sausage Festival. With their grills fired up, competitors prepared mouth-watering craft sausages for a hungry crowd.  
Early in the day, things heated up in the kitchen as Rex (Heartland Brothers) and Max (O&G Capital) dealt with stubborn flames and a smoky grill. However, as the day progressed the team fell into a rhythm and served up house-made Italian, Chorizo, Polish, and a secret Chef’s Choice.

The team called on their food consultant, Kenny, for help on the Chef’s Choice recipe. The result was a Thai inspired masterpiece. Smoked over apple wood, it had a perfectly balanced sweetness, which finished with a hint of lemongrass. Needless to say, it stole the show winning both the People’s Choice AND Chef’s Choice awards. ​
